[ATC] Haunted Nintendo

This is a campfire meeting, lads, so gather around, and huddle up.

Rather than telling ghost stories, let's discuss the supernatural beings in Nintendo; whether it be Boos or Gengar, Ganon or The Skull, discuss your favorite supernatural elements of Nintendo.

My favorite? Murkrow, the crow Pokemon. I think it's really cool, it reps darkness, among other things quite well, and is essentially a Halloween Pokemon.

So, do you have any "ghosts" to unearth?

I'm still trying to figure out which are creepier, the ones in OoT or Windwaker.

You actually see the Redeads close up in Windwaker, and it's a surprise.

My favorite, however, is King Boo from Super Mario Sunshine. His gambling addiction and distaste for peppers is easily memorable.

The Poes from Twilight Princess are among my favorite ghosts, mainly because they look pretty cool. And killing them with the Wolf was fun.

Yeah, while the Redeads in Windwaker are actually scary, the Poes are more silly looking.

I love everything in Arbiter's Grounds in Twilight Princess, it was such an awesome place. I loved the poes and swordsman in the basement.

But my favorite supernatural being in Nintendo would have to be Gengar, I LOVE Gengar. He is just awesome.


Those are my favorites, but my most memorable are the poes in the graveyard in OoT and the Gibdos from MM.

To this day I still think the ReDeads in OoT are raping Link...  they're pure disturbing. 0.o

Anyway, my favorite haunting Nintendo character is Bogmire, the graveyard boss on Luigi's Mansion.  He's definitely the coolest ghost there.
