People who rate movies either think too highly of themselves or think the general public will listen to them and care. (none of you guys D:)

I'll buy T2 because it was fun to watch.
If I'm looking for cinematic genius, I can look elsewhere.

But as far as a fun summer blockbuster goes, it was entertaining.

I did the same thing as you for The Golden Compass.  I refuse to watch it, because I know it is terrible.  I don't want to spoil the books with intercourse ing nicole kidman and james bond.
