how would you describe 2 player mode?

1. Terrible (why on earth did they put it in there!?!)

I personally enjoyed it.  You can make Mario jump, along with shoot stars and collect cetain items.

As long as your friend/sibling/etc. doesn't make you jump off cliffs by touching mario its enjoyable by both single and 2 player. :)

I would like it better if they added a luigi in the game instead of that.

It's alright. I don't usually play with someone else because it make the game a lot easier.
