I can't believe wii is still this hard to get.
It's funny because I just walked right into a EB games around september on my birthday and asked for a wii and got one without a hassle :)

It's because it's the holiday season now. :( I didn't have the money back then so I couldn't buy it.

It's those scalpers that buy all of the systems a store has in stock and sell them on eBay for like $400 with "five games!" (Wii Sports)

I was at Best Buy today, and there was about 20 Wiis just sitting there, and after being in the store for around 2 hours, only one person bought a Wii.

They must not be as popular where I am right now.

Lucky for me, I got a Wii early. 'Though my mom had to search for it for 2 weeks. Totaly worth it if you look hard enough.

IIRC the PS2 was much harder to find.

if you find out when a shop gets them in (exact time & date) you can get one easily (when I got mine, the box was still cold & moist, and they had just cut open the box... I was the first one to get mine on that shipment :P).
