I got mine for Christmas last year because my dad sat in line for 19 hours to get it.

My advice, Andrea, is to call your local stores that could carry them (especially Wal-Mart) every day.
It may take a bit of time, but that's how one of my friends got one.

They called Wal-Mart every day asking about shipments until they got an exact time and date, and they went and bought one.

Well actually, I just remembered that a Game Stop I went to yesterday had a few Wiis. I think like 5, 6, or 7.

My friend's mom got him one of eBay. Apparently they got a good deal; a bundle with Metroid Prime 3, Wii Play, Mario Party 8, a few other games, 4 Wiimotes, and 4 Nunchuks.
