Really weird computer issues

One minute, my computer will be all fine, and then the next, for no reason at all, my computer will start slowing down. After opening task manager, I see that it uses up all of its RAM , but for no reason, the same programs are running, and nothing new has started, and it starts running on virtual memory. Why is my computer doing this?
