Day Phase - Some specials powers may only be activated during day mode, and the people vote on who they think is a werewolf during this time. Also, last night's victim is found.
Night Phase - The alleged werewolf is killed, and the werewolves hunt the townspeople.
Okay, so go ahead and post in here if you want to join. I've posted the prologue below. I need at least 13 people to start, but more would be even better.
Day 00Another victim laid in the middle of the plaza, bloodied and barely recognizable. The townsfolk were in an uproar. They had werewolves among them, and the people were done sitting around waiting to be next.
"We don't know who is who," said one of the men, "but we do have ideas... And if you werewolves knew what was good for you, I'd get out. Or burn alive." He dropped the flaming torch he was holding onto the smoking pile of wood stock they had gathered. A harness was strapped far above the fire contained at the bottom.
"Now we vote!" a woman yelled. "Vote for the bloodthirsty werewolves! Just look into their eyes! You can see Death in their eyes!" Her howls caused others to join in, chanting angrily.
"We put the werewolf in the harness," one of the men began yelling over all the people's screams, "and lower him into the pit of fire! We will cause him more pain and suffering than he has ever known, and maybe then he will understand our pain!"
"And I will shoot him with my silver bullet," one man whispered from the shadows. The people turned, silence among them, to see the new arrival. He looked toward each one, then tipped his fedora in a salute. "I'm sorry for disturbing your riot. But, I was told you've been having werewolf troubles. And I hunt werewolves."
Little by little, the people began yelling again, cheering for the new man. A few of the men looked eerily at him, perhaps they were werewolves, or maybe they were unsure whether to trust this stranger. "I'll hunt what I can, but I'll leave you to your massacre," the hunter continued. "I've seen other towns try things that way. I'll warn you, it usually left them dead. But maybe you will be smarter. Maybe you will look for the clues and use them to your advantages, instead of remaining blind in your rage.
"I will help you how I can," he cocked his rifle and smirked at the people who jumped back, "but mostly I'll just shoot some heads."
The townspeople were ready, along with the hunter who stood back and leaned against a building, allowing them to go about their savage ways.
"Now... we vote," the man who had dropped the torch said. "Vote to save our lives."
I'm in, but I have one question: Why is the alleged Werewolf killed at night? Shouldn't he be lynched in the Day Phase?
I have a perfect attendance record for Werewolves. I'm not missing out on this one. ^_^

Well it's more at the end of the Day Phase, early evening. Right before night, I guess. But right after it comes the Night Phase, and it is pretty much what transitions into the next phase. So I'm just putting it with the Night Phase since it all goes in the same post.

It's easy enough to understand, you'll pick up on it quickly. I'll be sending everyone a PM later giving your 'job' and whatnot, so you'll get a more detailed explanation then. But that's not until we have enough people and I randomly assign everyone's 'title'...

Yes, yes, everyone has gotten their PM and this thread is ready to go.
It's a beautiful day outside, isn't it? The sun is shining, the birds are chirping... But in the town, everything is dead quiet. It's the Day phase, and time for the first vote. The villagers all seem nervous. Fate rests in their hands, but do they truly know what is best for their town? Will you, villagers, get it right, or will you suffer the same fate as previous towns before yours? The hunter adjusted his fedora, plucked the white feather out of his hat and chewed at the bottom of it, and watched the people of the town get ready from the side of a building. He would join in the 'festivities' of course, but reluctantly. He wanted the werewolves tracked and hunted down, not picked off blindly. At that thought, he glanced over at another man, who stood at the edge of the crowd with his pencil and paper, scratching his cheek softly.
'I wonder if he feels the same way as me,' the hunter thought, watching him carefully. 'I wonder if he has seen all the things I have seen...' It was just as likely he was a impostor, a wannabe trying to help his townspeople, but knowing nothing of the true way to track. 'Or, he could even be one of the werewolves, hiding the trail.' There were too many possibilities, and not enough time to think things out. This first vote will most likely kill off an innocent villager, the hunter knew that one for a fact. Still, he nonchalantly strolled up next to the man he had been watching, took out his own pencil and paper, and scribbled a name down just like the rest of the people there.
Hopefully, they voted right.
Okay then, Day Phase. PM me the screen name of the person you want to see dead.

I was TOTALLY that villager. Yep, nothing wrong with me at all. Not acting like I'm not suspicious or anything...

"You've got the wrong man," he said, coughing slightly at the tightening of the rope. "I die today, my job not finished. But I will tell you, there's five of them out there. Still five of them. Because you bloody idiots chose the wrong man to die today! Good luck, you'll need a hell of a lot of it now."
The men gave him no more time to talk. They released the floor and he fell, his neck snapping, his body being licked by the flames, and a hole through his heart, where the hunter had shot his silver bullet. Jono2 was dead.Okay, Jono is out. It's the Night Phase now, so get to work, wolves.
Night Phase will last until tomorrow afternoon, whenever I can get on.

The roles, and whether or not an innocent was killed, need to remain confidential for now. And as things progress you'll learn the roles for yourselves. By the end you'll know all the roles and who had what.

I've evened it out in different ways, it all depends on the choices you guys make.
Well, Night Phase is over. In this Werewolf, I give you guys a certain amount of time to hand in your votes, as specified in my last post. So, here are the results.
As the morning sun rose, and the villagers began awakening, fear settled in their stomachs. Who was it this time? The hunter strolled out into the square, followed by a more haunted mayor. "Wait, there is no body!" the mayor gasped. The hunter looked around and nodded, not seeing a body in sight.
"So?" the hunter asked. "Did you except to see someone?"
"W-Well, yes... Yes I did."
"Hm." But as more and more of the villagers were accounted for, it seemed that not a single person was missing.
"The werewolves didn't strike!" the people cheered. "Perhaps our first kill scared them off!"
"Jono2 must have been a werewolf then," commented the doctor, who strolled into town in his white coat. His gloves were still slightly bloody from the work he had done the previous night with their late friend's body. He was in charge of taking care of the dead body. The hunter still wasn't sure about that, but he didn't mutter a word. The mayor put on a face for the crowd, and the people celebrated. But the hunter could see that the mayor wasn't satisfied either.
"Well, time for another sacrifice then," the hunter muttered. "Whose it gonna be..."So, no one is dead, and it is the Day Phase. You guys have a chance to kill a wolf, good luck.

I honestly don't think Jono was a werewolf :\ I think we're still dealing with 5...I mean, he didn't come out and say it, so does it not seem likely it is a twist?

As the cool, blue sky began to fade, all the votes had been tallied. The mayor turned to face one of the people standing in the middle of the crowd, blending in. "You," he said, pointing at the man. As they set fire to the pedestal and hung SkyMyl, who only cried out petty threats, the Hunter cocked his rifle and sent a blast right into SkyMyl's chest. "There, the job's done. Now we can get that son of a ninny to shut the hell up." There was some laughter and cheers, but SkyMyl's last words still rang through the air:
"You're never going to find the werewolves like this, you stupid animals! You're nothing but wolves yourself! The entire town is going to die, burn to the ground, and the werewolves will be the only ones left, feasting throughout the night!" The echo of his manic laughter rang through even after the bullet silenced him forever.
SkyMyl's been lynched. Night Phase begins. It'll end Thursday at around 6-8 PM Eastern.
So.....did we catch a wolf?
No. He wasn't. This one is going to end with us losing. I can already tell.
Can't give out information on the roles yet. But I will tell you that one of the deaths was a villager, the other a wolf.
Also, the werewolf vote is done, so I might as well post it now.
As daylight once again broke through the town, the townsfolk wearily rose from their beds. Out on the square, bludgeoned and torn to bits, was their dear friend Macbeth. Who had done this to their beloved detective, and why? Perhaps he had known too much. The mayor knew that he had been researching the werewolves. The mayor was the only other who knew of the foreign girl, an acquaintance of the wolf chief, who had been going to the detective's home and giving him hints as to who the wolves were. She knew the Alpha Wolf from the terrorizing of another village.
"This was not a neat kill. It was hurried," the Doctor explained, pointing out the evidence all over Macbeth's body. "Different then the others... I wonder why." The Hunter nodded in agreement, staring at their dead friend.
"What's that?" he asked, suddenly noticing that Macbeth's finger was tightly clamped around something, and the small yellow edge of a piece of paper could be seen. The Doctor pried open Macbeth's stiff fingers and slowly pulled away the paper.
"It's a note," he stated, reading it. "I think... Why, it's someone's name!"
"What?" the mayor exclaimed. "Give me that!" The Doctor showed it to her, and the mayor's eyes widened in surprise.
"It must be the last information he got from the girl... before..."
"What? What matter do you speak of?" the Doctor asked, taking the note back and folding it up carefully.
"N-Nothing! Now, I'm mayor, give me that note." The Doctor sighed and handed it back over. "Thank you very much. Now, please get rid of this body for me. I have some thinking to do."
"Wait, Mayor," the Hunter said, flipping a coin and catching it nonchalantly. "Tails it's a wolf, heads it's a villager."
"What are you talking about?" the Mayor asked, confused.
"That note. Tails it's a wolf, heads it's a villager. Maybe Macbeth was trying to frame someone... or maybe he was trying to clear someone's name."
"You're basing your decision on a quarter? And you thought our way of dealing with things was mockery."
The Hunter smirked and opened his palm to reveal the coin. Tails. "Looks like we're dealing with a wolf," he said softly, the coin put safely back in his pocket. "If you're willing to believe a mere 50/50 shot chance. Which you have already proved you put your faith into."
"I know it's the wolf... I know exactly why that name was written down!" the Mayor yelled, annoyed with the Hunter's ramblings.
"Then?"
"Then, what? I just have a hunch that this name here is the," she lowered her voice to a whisper, "the Alpha Wolf."
"Ding! Hear that? That's the oven. My plot roast is cooking." The Mayor rolled her eyes and left the Hunter, who chuckled lightly in response.
The Mayor stepped into her house and looked at the note one more time. "This is it... This must be the last clue that was given to the Detective... This must be why he was killed so hastily. They did not want anyone finding this out. But now I know... I know who the Alpha Wolf is."
Okay, so it is the Day Phase again, and Macbeth was killed by a pack of werewolves. But this time, you faithful voters, you have a choice. Take a peak at the note, or make a vote. The note will ensure you know who to vote on next Day Phase, but now you must think... Is time on your side?

You can believe whatever you'd like regarding the note. No one can be sure that what the paper says is correct. It's all about what you choose to believe. Is it a red herring, actually a person to be kept safe, just one of the regular wolves, or does this note truly hold the key to the Alpha Wolf? The Mayor seems to think it is the Alpha Wolf based on the fact that the Detective had been searching for clues on this and in his death he left behind a note with someone's name on it. Also, the Doctor confirmed that the death of Macbeth was different then the others... hastier. How do you bend and twist the clues to form your own hypothesis? That's all up to you.
The real question is, what do you choose to believe?

I can't stop players from revealing information. Whether it is false to try and get a person you want out killed, or even a person coming out and telling everyone their role, or someone else's if they somehow find that out. The only thing I forbid is a dead character to come out and talk and give out information. You know, because they are no longer alive.
Think of it like this: A villager reads the note, then goes around and tells everyone what it said. That's pretty much what happened here. It's pretty much suicide for them, but it's legal. Although I was kind of hoping that
wouldn't happen...
Okay, votes are closed. Who is lucky enough to die today? Let's find out in a long and unnecessary italicized post.
"Okay, time to read the votes," the Mayor said loudly as the townspeople gathered around. The Hunter remembered what he had seen on the paper, and came to the sacrifice a little more willingly that day. He was interested to see what would ensue with that added little twist. The Mayor seemed exceptionally happy. The Hunter wondered vaguely if she had rigged the votes, but didn't think much of it.
"JNFS2014. It is your turn to die," the Mayor called out, a small smile on her face. Everyone turned to face him. He had just made it to the center of town, and looked back and forth from the people.
"Sorry I'm late," he apologized. "I went home to take a nap. Didn't get much sleep last night. The werewolf thing has been giving me nightmares." The dark circles under his amber eyes seemed to agree with the story. But his strong build, bushy facial hair, and glowering demeanor seemed to tell a different tale. "...What's going on?" he asked as the eyes continued staring at him. The Hunter made the first move, taking out his gun and pointing it at JNFS2014.
"Don't make any sudden movements, or you die without honor," growled the Hunter. The wolf then realized what must have happened, and he cursed silently under his breath for not making a run for it while he still had the chance.
"I should have made a point to kill you first," he barked. "But between you and the Tracker, I found him to be more of a threat."
"And between me and the Detective, you thought the Detective knew more."
"Too much," corrected JNFS. "I silenced him, but he must have spread the word before we got to him."
"A piece of paper," the Mayor chimed in. "He was holding it in death."
"I don't care. I have more men. More werewolves that will sweep through the night and extract their revenge. They will kill every single one of you. And I will be watching and laughing as you all perish."
"You can watch from the fiery pits of Hell, you son of a ninny." There was a loud blast, and JNFS2014 stood there, his eyes widened and his mouth partially opened, blood dripping from the large hole in his forehead. He stood there, wavering, for a few more seconds more before he fell face first onto the ground. The Mayor gladly took a match and some gasoline and lit the Alpha Wolf on fire.
"Goodbye and good riddance."
Okay, JNFS2014 is gone. It's Night Phase, and time for the werewolves to get revenge.
What the heck. One day for a Day Phase? Gay.

Actually, over two. It started July 15th at around 6 PM, and ended July 17th at almost 10 PM.
Also, this Night Phase ends July 19th at around 5 PM Eastern.
Dang it, I thought the Day Phase ended on Thursday and the Night Phase ended on Saturday. :(

Okay, time to find out who gets wolfed down this time.
As the townspeople cautiously stepped out into the sunshine, afraid of who they might find dead next, they were pleasantly surprised to find no bodies lying around. It seemed that the werewolves did not strike. What were they planning? Why hadn't they attacked? Had they killed all of the wolves?
"There are still some out there," the Hunter notified the Mayor, who had looked curiously at the Hunter.
The Mayor nodded and turned towards the people to say, "Don't get overly excited. There are still some out there, and we must be careful about what we do. Now, it is time for us to vote once again."
The people gathered around, more confident after how their voting went last time. Even the Hunter followed along with the people, beginning to think that they had a chance to defeat the wolf problem. But he did not allow himself to get too optimistic. The wolves were still out there, most likely following a secondary leader, and hungry for revenge.
Okay, no one is dead, and it's Day Phase, so vote.
Day Phase ends July 21st, around 10 PM Eastern.
I guess my second leader wasn't on. :(
Okay, Day Phase is over. I'm not in the mood to type up some long, italicized post explaining who is voted off, so I'll just tell it to you straight: MagnumSonic, by a landslide.

I think everybody should kill off KJ.
I mean, he is the host. If he WERN'T a wolf, wouldn't that be unfair? (Cause he knows all the roles.) I don't think KJ want to be unfair, so he probably put himself as a wolf, to keep balance within the game.
Then again, I could be wrong.
And look, they've killed off two apparently important people. Maybe he IS being unfair, but for the wolves!

Or maybe I'm being unfair toward the villagers. I mean, they've made a dent in the wolf numbers already... Who knows what information I could be feeding either side? Killing me off would definitely shut me up, in a way. But it still wouldn't stop me from filling any of my other host duties, and when a time comes for information to be revealed, I'll still be relaying it, dead or not.

Why? Even if the Innocents lynch the wolf, the other two wolves will kill the innocent.
Yeah, I know. I was going to wait until the wolves finished killing off the villagers to end this. Anyway the last two innocents are the least active ones so they won't be voting during the Day Phase regardless.
But, yeah, I'll end it here. So guys, this was my first Werewolf. Now that I've gone through it, I can see where I was flawed, where I did okay, and also where I need to improve. Eventually I'll be making another one of these. Hopefully it will be much better.

How was it flawed? Well, for one thing; from the beginning, the innocents didn't have a chance in hell. Five of the twelve thirteen people are wolves? That's almost half of the total amount! And since the wolves get a kill every night - and every day phase, depending on how they can sway the masses - they're pretty much golden from the get-go.
...But I'm not complaining. My first werewolf win; hoorah.

Yes, that's the main flaw that I am planning on fixing. But actually my original power, if killed, was to randomly choose 2 werewolves and destroy them. So, that might have made it more balanced. But, I found it unfair in the end and changed it at the last second to what you can all see as the final product.
Oh well, my next will be better.
I would have been more active but I've been at the beach this last week.
