quick Portal question

[Zovistograt]

If I quit the game (i.e. just close it), will I be able to load the game from the current respawn point?  I'm on #15 I think...the one with the zig-zagging platform path at the end...and I'm currently trying to get my timing right to navigate that part.  But I don't want to do the other part again, so does it just start where you left off or does it start from the beginning of the test?
