Anything special about where you live?

Is there something special about your town? Landmarks, special people that live there, etc... My town is just a small little beach town, only notable thing is a pier :P  (Pic: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Cayucos.jpg)

But only about 7 miles or so away is Morro Bay, a much bigger town. I'm there every day, probably the most noticable things there is, of course, Morro Rock (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Morro_Rock_1.jpg), apperently landmark no. 821, and part of the 7 sisters, a big chain of volcanoes. And the power plant, with 3 450 ft. steam stacks. And I guess I should note that Jack LaLanne lives there XD (Is he dead yet, if so, lived, there :P)

Casinos, strip clubs, sex shops, a high rate of high school drop outs like me, the City was created by gangsters like Bugsy Siegel <333, Fright Dome apparently, Lake Mead, the intercourse ing Dam, the fact that you can get married by Death, and some other crap.

And contrary to popular belief, Prostitution is NOT legal in Las Vegas.  It is in Pahrump, Primm Valley, And..  something Boulder that's near Arizona.  If I remember correctly, there needs to be a population of 200,000 or less for prostitution to be legal, but I may have the numbers wrong.  Prostitution WAS legal a few good years ago, and Casino's would usually have their own stable.  Today we have a population of about 3 million or so.
