I played against some... R.O.B. player last night...he was really good...
He did this attack with that top spinning thingy.
I'm trying to remember, but it's like he Grabbed me then threw me then threw that spinning top thingy at me, then somehow dashed forward extremely fast and threw that thingy at me again...... I Don't know...it was a blur, but I never seen anything like it.

I peg You Ridly to know all of R.O.B.'s attacks and stuff like that.

(too bad the R.O.B. user still lost to me though) ;D

Yeah, sounds like he was glide tossing with the gyro.

It's called a glide toss.  Roll and flick the c stick at the same time and you just slide as well as throw it.  You can do it with any item, and that is what makes Diddy so good.  Most characters can do it, but a few can't, and some just get more slide than others, while some have pathetic slides.
