I didn't preorder and I was able to walk into Best Buy at 2:00pm and choose from the hundreds of copies they had so I didn't get a scratched disc.
Lucky, every I go it's sold out, so I laugh at my friends who don't have it.
It's not really luck.  They got about 900 copies of it.  I knew how many they were getting, so there was no reason to preorder.
