Don't Panic (A Post-Apocalyptic, Semi-Literate RP)

Tav had a fire and a small shelter set up just next to the mountain.  He hiked up a little and found a ledge to sit on.  He put a blade of grass in between his lips, and leaned forward onto his knees. "If only I could remember...  If only I knew what happened...  If only I knew what to do next."

Lance slowly arose, noticing the small camp. He tried to stand up, but quickly noticed a sharp pain in his leg. After falling 3 times, he finally gave up.

Hearing movement from below, Tav quickly hurried down the mountain side.
"Yeah, you probably shouldn't put weight and that.  I'll try to make you a crutch if I can find a good stick..."

Lance sighed. "Sure, seeing as there aren't any more dragons around here." He sighed again.

Tav looked around for a sturdy enough stick to make into a crutch or cane for Lance.  He found a tree with a big branch, perfect sized.  Huh... He drew his sword and leaped into the air, bringing the sword down in front of him, cutting the branch clean off the tree.

He turned around and walked back to camp.

Tav silently walked back into camp.  " I can't really carve it into a more comfortable shape, but you should be able to lean against this."

Tav sheathed his sword and sat down.

"So what now?  This woorld looks like it's been halfway to Hell and back, and as far as I know, us three (two? >_<) could be the only ones alive.  Do you have anywhere to go?"

Lance nodded, grateful. Slowly standing up, he chuckled. "This makes me feel like I'm sixty," he joked. Putting on a more serious face, he continued,"But as you said, we've been through a lot, and I've heard tragedy can make you feel older."

"That it can," said Josh, walking forward. He sat down, and began reclining backwards, until he was looking strait up. He put his hands behind his head, and took a deep breath.
