It's definitely a great game, but it's not my favorite. Link to the Past is my favorite, and after that the Zelda games seem to blur together in this huge mess I'll call "Zelda games I think are really good but aren't my favorite." :P

It's fourth in rank in terms of the 2D Zeldas, in my opinion.

1) Oracle of Ages
2) Oracle of Seasons
3) ALTTP

'Twas a fun game, but none of the items were especially creative, and you could OHKO pretty much any enemy once you had the Fire Rod. Also, how many times did you walk up to a pot and get the "Oh, this is heavy! You'll need help to lift this" message simply because you didn't have the Power Bracelet equipped? Same thing with the "Oh, what a weird object!" message for the Pegasus Boots. It got really annoying after a while.

Link's Awakening was defiantly an awesome game. I would rank it as one of my favorites. It was really fun to play, and some of the puzzles and dungeons were pretty challenging.

Yeah, I think it's fantastic. The only 2D Zelda that's better than it, in my opinion, is Link to the Past.
