Alright, I know there is an art contest for sigs, but I don't think there's one for regular art, so I'm starting one. :P (Silver approved, by the way)
Okay, so every month we will judge pretty much whatever type of artwork submitted. I'm going to need people to submit their art. It can be computerized, hand-drawn, whatever you want, as long as it was made by you. At the end of each month, the judges will pick the best art submitted. Their prize? The proud rank of NSider Picasso.
Rules... Yes there are rules....
1. Please sign your art. That way we know you made it.
2. Sigs will also count, since there isn't a contest for them either.
3. After you have submitted your entry, that's it. You can only edit that entry.
4. One entry per contestant.
More rules may appear if I think of more... ;)

Anime characters! Draw your own anime characters! Can be made either by drawing or using a computer. Black & White or Color, it doesn't matter. :P

2. Only one entry is permitted. Once you submit your entry, only it may be changed.
3. Please sign your art.

Usually each contest has a certain theme, with NSider, it was related to the next hot game. Also, there is usually a hand drawn, and CPU drawn categories.

Our first contest will be...... A banner contest. It can be hand-drawn, GIMPed, whatever! There will be two winners (or one, depending on submitted stuff), one for hand-drawn and one for computer made.
It needs more stuff, such as the deadline, rules, and/or amount of entrants.

Damn. I'm using a Shadow Mario render too :p.
Anyway, what dimensions (In pixels) do you want these? Another thing, you may want to allow people to change their entry, but only with another form of the one they already made. For example, lets say X there changes that one up a bit, you just let him change his entry to the new version.
That's a good idea! That way, if people notice an error they overlooked, they can correct it... Or, something like that. ^_^
And as for pixels and dimensions and whatnot, it really doesn't matter. Just don't make it enormous or anything. ;)
So, i'll just draw a pic of Snake or Raiden and have it say "Artist of the month" on it
is that okay?

All right, the theme of the contest is Anime. Draw your own Anime Characters, upload them to Photobucket, post 'em here. They must be your own creations, and you can also draw an Anime representation yourself, if you can't create/haven't created an Anime character. Get crackin', and don't forget to sign it.
Also Nils, you haven't put X9's banner up yet. ;)
I'll get his banner up as soon as I get to a regular computer. ;)
