Yeah, list concerts you've been to.
I went to Green Day about... 4 years ago when they came to town.
went to Weird Al Yankovic last year in June
went to
ELTON FRICKIN JOHN
BEST CONCERT EVER
...so far
last night
was amazing.
he's my hero.
aaanndddddd
I'M GOING TO MSTRKRFT ON OCTOBER THE 4TH!!!!!!!!
WHOOOOOOOAAAAHHHHH
I've never been to a concert ;_;
I want to, but the bands and artists I like don't exactly tour around here/in this country/at all.
My best chance is either The Mars Volta or Venetian Snares, and even then...I don't know if I should go to a VS live show. It looks amazing on Youtube, but it also looks packed and quite drug-heavy. In some videos Aaron Funk himself is getting drunk and smoking something possibly illegal while mixing.

we don't get much around here either, aside from the generic pop poop that everyone seems to flock to.
had a great time singing along to classic elton john.
I've been to a lot of local concerts (too many to count), but I have seen BB King live, as well as Brian May. And in a week I'm going to ACL (Gnarls Barkley, Beck, MGMT, Robert Plant, etc.).
oh yeah, and when i went to green day, their opener was My Chemical Romance... pre-emo my chemical romance (they were actually pretty good).
B-B-B-Bennie and the Jets
I wish I could see Elton John live. That'd be amazing. Unfortunately, as musical of a person as I am, I've never been to a single live show other than one that was at my school (some band called Chalice doing covers of Led Zeppelin and Lynyrd Skynyrd and some other bands I don't care about). I wanted so badly to see Van Halen, but the ticket prices were outrageous.
I plan to go to Moondance Jam eventually. It's a rock festival that takes place every summer in Walker, MN (about a 3 hour drive from home...not too bad). It lasts a few days. The lineup for the most recent Moondance, that I unfortunately missed, was:
QuoteCrosby, Stills & Nash, Poison, Sammy Hagar & The Wabos, STYX, George Thorogood & the Destroyers, Creedence Clearwater Revisited, Sweet, Great White, The Guess Who, Boz Scaggs, Sebastian Bach, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Big Brother & The Holding Company, Gear Daddies, Otis Day and the Knights, Led Zepagain
Needless to say, I was disappointed that I missed it. I love CNY, The Guess Who, Sweet, CCR, and Big Brother and the Holding Company. Styx is mildly interesting as well. But most important is that I missed the best Led Zeppelin cover band on Earth.
;-;
Haven't been to any live concerts by big bands, but I have some live DVDs lying around.
I really want to see Coldplay (yes I want to see Coldplay) in concert, but the tickets are expensive. :-\

My cousin was at Reading Rock Festival when My Chemical Romance got booed off the stage. I'm told it was a very gorgeous sight.

ahahahahahah
that's hilarious!
I've been to two concerts so far and both of them were this year. I went to see Rush in July, which was really good. They played a ton of songs, but I was pretty far back from the stage.
I also saw Def Leppard in August, they were awesome. I was ten rows from the front and they knew people brought cameras so they would go up to the front of the stage a lot. :) Billy Idol also opened for them, which wasn't bad.
I have had erotic fantasies about the Wacken metal festival in Germany. Largest open air metal festival on the planet. Unfortunately, I do not live in Germany. I'll make it happen someday.
Here in New York, I've been to several concerts for local bands. They're fun, but they're rarely anything special.
Went to They Might Be Giants in Chicago last November. Was in balcony. Then, twice within the last year I saw Streetlight Manifesto, again Chicago at the Metro. Front row both times, it kicked ass and I would recommend to anyone.
I wanna see Four Year Strong and maybe even Fall Out Boy but the latter would be infested with middle school girls. The former would kick ass.
My band has also performed a couple shows but we still kind of suck. Our friends always go though. ::)
I've been to a Killers/Hot Hot Heat concert, Modest Mouse/Band of Horses/Love is Laughter concert, and a Mars Volta concert. They were all awesome. <3
Aerosmith 4 times
Cheap trick 2 times
Alice Cooper
Ted Nugent 2 times
Blue Oyster Cult
Paul McCartney
Robin Trower
A bunch of others I can't seem to remember right now.
No concerts planned for the moment... :(
But not bad for being 15. :)
And Elton Jhon? Awesome for you man. 8)
One concert...dunno the name of the band though.
I plan on going to Video Games Live in Seattle in January. And MJ's next tour.

Blue Oyster Cult
I've had two opportunities to go to free shows of theirs, but both times I happened to be either going to CA or coming back from it.
First time was a show up here in Minnesota, but I had to go with my family to CA. Second time was a free show with some other poopty bands in CA, but I had to go back to MN.
:'(

Yeah, when I went to them, they were at Beloit Riverfest, and they played before Cheap Trick went on. And THAT was a good concert.
Apparently there's going to be a jpop concert at NYAF on Saturday. I might check that out.
mm... my hearing sucks.
First Concert:
Warped Tour '04? Yeah, bad choice.
Second:
Reinventing the Wheel
The Guilty Parties
Captain Squeegee and the Soap Suds
Stoked
Third:
RAC
Fayuca
Haffo
Underwater
Captain Squeegee and the Soap Suds
Fourth: (night before finals my senior year, hahaha)
Captain Squeegee and the Soap Suds
Mustard Plug
Buck-O-Nine
Fifth: Sublime Tribute Show (went to this instead of going to graduation)
Underwater
RAC
Fayuca
Third Left Turn
Badfish
Scotty Don't
Sixth:
The Aquabats
Two other random bands I don't remember
Seventh:
The Slackers
Captain Squeegee and the Soap Suds
The Phenomenauts
Eighth:
Swallow the Sun
Katatonia
Two other crappy bands
Hopefully the Ninth is coming up:
Opeth
High on Fire
Baroness
Hmm, could have sworn that I've been to quite a few more concerts than 8... I probably forgot some of the more minor ones haha
BTW, Captain Squeegee, Fayuca, RAC, Underwater, Stoked, Haffo, Reinventing the Wheel (broke up), and The Guilty Parties (California) are all local bands. I really enjoy them though, hence why I saw them as many times as I could haha
i went to the Fly 92.3 Summer Jam in Altamont New York where I saw Sum 41 and Simple Plan. I might be going to see Punchline soon.
I have seen...
Rush
Red hot chili peppers
The mars volta
Sisters of mercy
Five man electrical band
And a bunch of unknown bands.
Great shows. Rush tops them all though.
I've been to a few with my brother and aunt before, but I can't remember what they were... D:
But i'm going to the Metallica concert in San Diego, December... 13th? I think. And the Paramore "Lost Show" in Hollywood November 18th.

It must be risky to buy tickets in advance for an MJ show cause you never know when he's going to get charged for rape or keeping and looking at photographs of you know what in his library all day.
Ahh i have been to two concerts. They both kicked ass.
The first one was Live X with the artists: Nonpoint, Trapt, Shinedown, and Mudvayne.
The second one was 99x-mas ball with :Another Animal, Coheed and Cambria, HELLYEAH, Papa Roach, Three Days Grace
Both were kick ass
Not going to VGL...this sucks...
But I plan on possibly seeing Britney Spears in Tacoma next year. This should be interesting.
I haven't been to a concert since Prog Nation. Opeth and Dream Theater were amazing.
I just haven't had the money really.
I saw the Bouncing Souls last Saturday. They played with Vision, Higher Giant, and Token Entry.
Next one coming up for me is Britney Spears in L.A., April 2009 and Disturbed in Hollywood January 2009.
Mabe more if some others come up.

The one in L.A. or a different one? And I love pop, so of course I love her.
Also, Shujinco. From what i've found, everybody is either a Britney fan or a closet Britney fan :P Even my brother who listens to death metal all the time and says how much he hates her admitted he kinda liked her music D:

Tacoma, WA.
And Jono, you suck. Circus = best Britney album.
i'm gonna see a few local bands this weekend
I went to both the Oxegen and Leeds festival last year. Which meant that amongst a poopload of other bands I got to see Rage Against The Machine twice. And also The Prodigy, Queens of the Stone Age, Metallica and Tenacious D.
I'm going to see Rise Against and Reel Big Fish soon.
I've been to Switchfoot x2, Relient K, Weird Al, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and I'm probably going to the Mindless Self Indulgence concert in March. I hope... oooohhh I hope. *crosses fingers*
N/A :(
Let's see...
The Killers/Hot Hot Heat
Love is Laughter (or something)/Band of Horses/Modest Mouse (omg)
The Mars Volta
I think that's about it...hopefully going to Kings of Leon in a few weeks, but I doubt it'll happen. :(
Tickets are up in the $100+ range now.
