[Banner Needed]
So, yeah, I noticed that things around here were going pretty slow, so... I decided to resurrect this wonderful contest.
Here are people we do not currently need, but would like to have:
Sig/Banner artist
For winning the original Fan Fic of the Week (FotW), you got a signature add-on. If someone could create a signature add-on for first place (at least), I would be greatly appreciative. Please PM to me why you should be the sig/banner artist, and give me the sig add-on you made.
Judges
Judges will rate (1-10) the fics that are entered for each month, along with giving a statement with the fic they rated highest as to why they should win. They may enter one month, but they may not judge that month. Please PM me why you should be a judge, along with outstanding things you have done.
At this time, we are not looking for judges, but if you think you could fill this spot well, submit anyway.
You may now send in fics for the month of March. The winner gets the rank "Nsider Shakespeare" for the month they won.

I was a judge for the FFotW contest back on the old NSider. So, can I be a judge here as well?
"Oustanding Things" I Have Done
- Judged for the old FfotW contest, which means I must be judge worthy. But, I'm not sure, out of the blue Shadowlink PM'd me and offered me the job. I have no idea why he thought of me xD, but it must mean something.
- I was part of the FFW and my reviews were lengthy and I was given top scores when Nweb would rate the reviews.
Good accomplishments. I also know of other things you have done well, so I shall gladly give you a judging spot. I believe 3 judges are enough for the moment, as we hardly have any fanfics here. We do, however, still need a sig artist to create the award. If I don't find one for awhile, I may be tempted to talk to an admin about creating a rank for the winner.

Great! You should also put in the title "Fan Fic Submition in Progress" or something along those lines to cue people to start adding their fan fics.
And... we are OPEN for business! I finally got around to it. ;) I PMed Silver and PsychoYoshi about creating a rank for the winner, and am waiting for them to respond. In the meantime, send in your entries! You can send them in until Sunday, February 24. At that time, no more entries will be counted, and I will post the entry list. The results should come around within the following week.

The overall plot is well done and new. Yet, it seems that 'Existence' wasn't given a good enough reason to be so angry, and that should have been explained a bit better. The grammar and spelling is all right, but the biggest pain is how short the chapters are. They are barely half of chapters, and yet they are rewarded with titles for the few paragraphs.
3) Fantasy's End: Ruin of Souls (X_Hero)
An excellent, excellent piece of work! A lot of the Nintendo franchises are woven in nicely, as well as complimentary grammar and spelling. The chapters are long, meaning a good read, and the characters are believable. I applaud X_Hero for creating a decent fic in this ghost town of a board.
4) Born Anew (LightningSword)
A chilling One shot talking about the sensitive subject of death. It is short for a One shot, as these are usually quite lengthy. But what is lacks in length it makes up for in grammar, spelling, and a great story line! Some things did confuse me, like why the trainer still only had a Squirtle and Charmander after all those years, but the overall theme really pushes those questions out of your mind. At the end of the day, it really is a great One shot.
