I was really bored and decided to make a top 50 metal songs list. This is based on my own personal taste in genre and not how influencial the musicians were. It also pains me to say that I decided to limit this to one song per artist. Here we go.

2 main complaints
1.Overall it seems to lack that kind of "True metal" type of feel. Seeing AC/DC and GnR is fine but I think you can do better than that.

2.Tornado of Souls >>> holy wars. ;-;

The limitation idea however was good. You also should probably put an honorable mentions section.

:p It came down to Holy Wars, Tornado Of Souls, and Hangar 18 so it was close.

Hell yeah, Hallowed Be Thy Name has the greatest lyrics ever. I'd put more Tool in there though. Hooker with a Penis is the best song ever.

Those? I'm rather shocked; I mean, Hangar 18 is pretty odd and partly Holy Wars compared to say, Good Mourning Black Friday. All off of the same album; Ah well. It's commonly agreed to be deth's best anyways.

I'd put more Tool in there though. Hooker with a Penis is the best song ever.

My favorite is Vicarious but Hooker with a Penis is amazing.
