I like sports, especially Basketball. They're fun. Do you all play sports? Do you regularly exercise to keep in shape? Since I'm not playing basketball this year I've been really lazy about it, but I'm going to start back up again.
I just got home from a basketball game like twenty minutes ago. I'm sooooooooooo tired.
I go for walks. I don't play sports anymore. I used to play basketball and football. I wish I could go to the gym more often.
I'm not in the best shape, thus I'm not very athletic.
Unfortunately I don't have time to exercise either... :\
I don't know, I lost 30 pounds during the first semester from cutting most snacks and having to walk (briskly most of the time) to get to class, so I guess that works for me. I do cardio every other day during breaks, otherwise.

Me too. I should start walking, but then again, my town isn't too fun to walk in. Not enough side walks and too many cars.
I have an elliptical. Why walk around outside when you can do it while playing Left 4 Dead?
I have nowhere to walk. I live in a 3-mile road going through the woods right next to a city. Nothing is within walking distance....
i keep telling myself ill start swimming again but the walk to the pool is so coldddd
I row, which means I'm more in shape than all of you.

Rowing is a great exercise. Sadly, I can't do that regularly :P

except uh for any and all swimmers
I used to play Field Hockey, but I quit this year. People kept on telling me I was one of the best, but I left because I have a huge mouth and consistently got yelled at by the coaches because of it. I hated running an extra mile and doing 20 extra push-ups almost everyday. And then I missed Captain's practice over the summer because of my camp job, and I began feeling distanced from my team, so I stopped this year. It was half a mistake, I think. I'll always miss that team-feeling, but I also needed that extra time because of the poopload of work I have this year.
During the Spring and Summer I take my dog for walks every afternoon during the weekday (not very long, usually only 3-5 miles) and I go on hikes every Sunday (generally about 6-12 miles).
Otherwise, I don't exercise much during the school year. Too much other stuff going on to worry about that.
I used to play soccer but I got tired of it. Now I walk 20 minutes every day from school.
I used to play soccer(which didn't make me not fat), didn't like it because it took away from me being with my friends...
And only like a year ago I played DDR, like massive DDR dropped 35 pounds, and now occasionally play just to make sure it doesn't come back, but I'm not playing like 3 hours a day like I was before, more like 3 hours a month
I'm not in shape, but I'm not really overweight. According to Wii Fit, I'm on the borderline between "normal" and "on the risk of being overweight". If I lost like 10 pounds, I'd be okay.
Problem is, I'm not fond of sports. I could take walks, but that can wait for the Spring.
When I was in Highschool, I wrestled and lifted.
When I was in college, I danced and did yoga.
Now I walk about two miles two work and have a physically demanding job. For a while, I was jogging and doing push/ sit-ups again, but I'm taking a break.

I'm similar in that way, i guess. I don't like all the organization crap involved with sports. *is a loner*
Apparently, I'm the EXACT weight I should be from my height and age. Yay.
/me leaves for a walk
I don't really exercise.
At all.
:(
I go to weight lifting 3 times a day, wrestle, walk my dog, ride my bike everywhere, and do an occasional cock push-up. I think I'm doing all right on the exercise topic.
I don't exercise at all. :U
But I'm somewhat athletic.
I'm a proffesional Halo player.
Some consider it a sport since it's sponsored by ESPN.

Sport: the occupation of athletes who compete for pay
Exercise:the activity of exerting your muscles in various ways to keep fit
sport =/= exercise
I miss being on a basketball team, anybody still in highschool should cherish the time you get to spend with your team as long as you can.

Neighborhood leagues exist you know. When you get out of college you can just join a team wherever you're living.

yeah but its really not the same. Like in highschool you practice with the same guys every day (usually more then once a day), go to away games with them, and sometimes even out of state (or country once) tournaments. Most of my best friends are guys from my HS team.
oh and long time no see Zero

I found it to be really taxing in terms of Senior Year. As such, I unfortunately dropped playing basketball to have a little more time to focus on my studies. I sort of came to the harsh realization that it won't get me anywhere, while my marks will (I'm far from the best, lol).
I still do a lot of the morning regiment though. Jogging is really becoming important in my life, not for the sake of exercising, but because it's a great release. I also have Sports Performance as a class...which is basically a more intense gym class. We're doing the stupid tai bo or whatever nonsense now though...so yeah.
Also, obligatory hockey remark. Even if it is only rinking.
