2 days ago , I was fighting in the WiFi Battle Tower against other people.
We were both down to our last pokemon and I used Destiny Bond on my opponent.
I still lost, however.

But now when I played it today, I went through the exact same process, but this time my new opponent used Destiny Bond.
And to my surprise, I still lost.

What I would like to know is why I still lose regardless of whether I or my opponents use Destiny Bond.

Hm...before I can make an analysis, I must first know what Pokemon were in battle when Destiny Bond was in play.

#3
I'm not certain about which other 2 pokemon I had with me during the battle 3 days ago.
But I do know that the pokemon I had that day that knew Destiny bond was Wobbuffet against a Salamence.
The Salamence used Fly and I used Destiny Bond.
It took about 2 to 3 hits for it to take down my Wobbuffet.
After that I took the Salamence down with me, but still lost.

Now, the battle from yesterday was a little different.
My new opponent had 2 pokemon with Destiny Bond.
A Froslass and a Gengar, causing me to not only lose 2 pokemon, but the entire match.

First up was his Froslass against my Snorlax.
Froslass uses Ice Beam, but it doesn't do much.
My Snorlax uses Crunch, putting Froslass in the red zone.
Froslass uses Destiny Bond.
My Snorlax uses Crunch again, KOing both the Froslass and me.

Next up is my Starmie against a Dragonite.

My Starmie uses Cosmic Power to boost Defense and Sp. Defense.
Dragonite uses Outrage, but it doesn't do much. (My Starmie's defenses are pretty high, with balanced HP)
My Starmie uses Cosmic Power.
Dragonite uses Outrage. (Still doesn't do much)
Dragonite becomes confused due to fatigue.
My Starmie then uses Power Gem. (It's super effective and did a lot of damage, but didn't KO it)
Dragonite is confused.
Dragonite uses Outrage, again. (This one was a Critical Hit, and KOed my Starmie)

I sent out my Flygon to finish it off with Draco Meteor.
The Dragonite faints.

Now my Flygon goes up against the Gengar.

Gengar uses Hypnosis.
The attack misses.
My Flygon uses Fly.
Gengar uses Shadow Ball.
The attack misses.
My Flygon's Fly hits the Gengar, bringing him in the red zone.
Gengar uses Destiny Bond.
My Flygon uses Fly.
Gengar uses Destiny Bond, again.
My Flygon hits it, KOing both the Gengar and my Flygon.

The end battle screen shows that my opponent won and I lost, once again.

Either:

1. It showed a loss on your opponent, also.
2. Glitch.
3. Your Destiny Bond match somehow had DB off.
4. Will edit in.

Thanks for the info.

I wonder if it's the same with SD.
