i thought it was great. there were only about 3 or 4 characters i wanted that didn't make it. i was happy with all the characters that did make it. 4.25

Only two characters I actually WANTED made it in (Sonic and Ike), and quite a few are rather worthles IMO (ZSS, ROB, just to name a few).
Honestly, this roster couldve, no SHOULDVE been a whole lot better. Many characters I'm okay with, but too many bad/why? characters, and not enough people I actually wanted. Sakurai dropped the ball on this...especially that outside of third parties, only three new franchises were added to the game, and they were just single reps only...

It was pretty good, could have used more Fe characters and 3rd party characters though.

Mewtwo, Ridley, Bowser Jr., Krystal, and especially Ray 01 definately should have been in, as well as a Square Enix rep.  However, giving us Olimar, Wolf, Lucario, and the totally unexpected Pokemon Trainer is good enough to keep this roster from going beyond suck.

Kinda just okay,

I might have graded too harshly. Yay complaints.  I voted 2 because:

• Certain FS's should have been more original
• I disliked how they took out some clones, yet added some semi clones that made Luigi look like a non-clone (Toon Link and Wolf are the main examples for the above two, I will forgive Ike because he was announced so we were expecting another clone/semi-clone).
• Having PT and Olimar as defaults isn't that great of an idea; as Java mentioned in a previous thread, it would be better to unlock them.
• Ness and Marth should be default instead of Ike and Lucas.  Those two are newcomers, they should be unlockable
• Come to think of it, too many newcomers are default.
• It could have used at least one more third party character.  Sonic and Snake weren't enough, but still, it's better than one/nothing.
• Very wanted/logical candidates such as Geno, Krystal (who would have been better than Wolf, even without a unique moveset), Bowser Jr/Shadow Mario, Animal Crossser, and Ridley were left out (at least Ridley made it in as a boss though).
• We could have had more playables, I mean, this IS online after all.

By the way, those were opinions, not facts, for people who were going to accuse me of that.

solid four, it could been a teensey bit bigger, but what we got is pretty satisfying, all of my faves from melee are back. :)
