Bring your pokemon DS games to GameStop this month and get the Shiny Legendary Trio from the Zoroark movie. Then, when Black and White come out, transfer a shiny beast to B/W and you'll activate the event to go to Illusion Forest, where you can fight and catch Zoroark. However, be quick, as they're only out for a week each:
Shiny Raikou:
January 3-9
Shiny Entei:
January 17-23
Shiny Suicune:
January 31-February 6
NOTE: In order to get Zoroark, you only need ONE of the beasts, so don't panic if you can't get all three.

Well, the Celebi is to get Zorua, and the Shiny Trio is to get Zoroark, and all six of these pokemon are key characters in the Zoroark movie, so I guess this is all in honor of the movie coming to America soon... although I really don't know when the movie will come to America.
Uuuuuuugggh... It's gonna be a pain to get there, but this is too good to pass up.

I'd rather have wi-fi events but gamestop is fine too, as long as it's not toys r us.
I prefer Wi-Fi events because I can do it without leaving my house, and I don't miss them that way. AND they often last longer.
Sweet, Gamestop's only ten minutes away. Not hard at all to snag all three.

If so, I can get 3 of each (P/Pt/HG), GameStop is not a hard destination for me to get to, I just hope I remember to get them all x_x

But the flier I got at GameStop says they do work, thankfully. Only Wi-Fi events are occasionally tailored to specific games.
Also, Serebii does say that all 5 games work; they all will work for the Celebi event, too.

I went to GameStop today, and the mystery gift wasn't working on my DS. So, I went up front and asked an employee if they had started the distribution yet. He said yes and brought out a DSi, which surprised me because I never realized that these distribution events came from a special cartridge on another DS. He set the DSi down in front of me, turned it on, and told me that if I was willing to do it myself, I could just change the DSi's clock to each week so that the cartridge would distribute all three pokemon.
Month-long event completed in one day. New record?

Also, while not a requirement to get my spare trio, it would be awesome if I could have a Cyndaquil, Quilava, Typhlosion, Vulpix, or Ninetales that knows Extrasensory. I'd even be willing to give it back later; I just want one for breeding purposes, and I don't want to have to train up a Vulpix to learn it...

What do you want to use it for? I assume you want to pass the move off, in which case you'll need a male. And Vulpix is usually female, I think. Cyndaquil shouldn't be a problem for me. I'll get right on it.

My ultimate goal is to get a Male Modest Cyndaquil with Extrasensory, with Vulpix just being a stepping stone. Feel free to take care of some steps for me if you want (if there's a faster way than Vulpix, go ahead).

Uh, just realized a flaw in the plan. Getting the Cyndaquil Modest isn't as easy as I thought.
I can still do it, but I have to rely on the random nature selector, since I can't use the everstone due to my lack of a Modest female Cyndaquil. The everstone only works if the mother's holding it, not the father.
But Cyndaquil has an 87.5% chance of being male. And there are 20 possible natures, so... *quick math*
Each egg has roughly a 5% chance or hatching into a Male Cyndaquil with the desired nature. In other words, It might take me a day or two, but I should have it by Friday.

I want a Special Attacking Typhlosion. He'll be wearing a choice item (scarf or specs), and his first three moves will be: Eruption, Focus Blast, and back-up Fire move (Flamethrower probably). However, I have absolutely no idea what to give him for his final move, because Typhlosion is unfortunately limited in that department. May I make a suggestion for your third moveslot? Instead of Flamethrower, how about Overheat? My reason: Once your HP is low enough that Eruption won't do much (at below half, I guess) then Typhlosion with it's sub-average defenses would only be able to take one more hit or so. So that Special Attack drop doesn't matter. Plus, add a STAB Overheat to the boost given by Blaze (if your HP is below 1/3) and the results are amazing.
