I enjoyed the Wii version. I would prefer the gamecube version.

No, he took out half of his post when he quoted it and left only the irrelevant information.

But seriously, $30 is a bit high, but I'd rather have it on the Gamecube than the Wii. It should probably be no more than 20 though, at most.

Derp. I'm going to sit in that corner over there...

I think it costs more because it's out of print.

It's out of print, and they didn't print as many while it was being printed. They wanted you to buy it on Wii, because it was supposed to be an early system seller. I only saw it a few times in stores when it was new, by late 2006 stores were just waiting to get new Gamecube games out of the way to make way for the new generation.

I've never played the Gamecube version. Is it any better?

Well, it's just a non-mirrowed Hyrule without motion controls and Link being lefty again.

May be. It gives me a good feeling though, having it in my collection (I just bought it a few months ago)

The case is in perfect condition, all the manuals are in there, and the disc has not a single scratch on it. It looks as thought I bought it brand new. So I carefully pulled off the "PRE-OWNED" barcode sticker on it and you honestly can't tell it was ever used in any way but extremely carefully.

If you can get it pre-owned but not obviously used, it's not too bad.

Also, was the Wii version always $20? Could have been a price drop that it got due to still being printed, that the out-of-print GCN version didn't get.

It was officially reduced to $20. But I remember seeing it with a higher price tag.

I think the Wii version is slightly prettier but other than that its pretty much a mirrored GC version with motion controls.

Using the bow/hookshot motion controls was kind of fun.
In the United States and Europe, Nintendo introduced the label in 1996 as Player's Choice for both the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and the Game Boy to distinguish titles that have sold over one million copies.
I'm pretty sure they still use the same method of choosing Player's Choice/Nintendo Select titles.

It's not like Nintendo's projects have been getting smaller and smaller until this.

Yes.

You're clearly the one that hasn't paying attention to what PR folks at Nintendo have been saying about this game. They've been saying for about a year now that its the biggest project Nintendo has ever worked on. They've never explicitly claimed this before, Kayo. Whether or not its true is something else entirely and not my intercourse ing point.

You're smoking crack if you really believe that every advertisement for every Nintendo game ever explicitly stated that each said game was the biggest Nintendo game yet. Each new game is not "always the biggest, the best, and most expansive(etc.) thing yet."

At first I couldn't believe you said something so short sighted, but then I remembered that you're the same exact guy that thought Nintendo was trying to insult you for not buying a 3DS early with the Ambassador program.

Anyway at this point I'm practically beating my head into a brick wall. If you don't understand this then there's no point in continuing this discussion.

Explicitly, no. But you're on drugs if you don't think that
A) something better will eventually come, even according to Nintendo themself
B) the hype will die down within months.

Cute, you're using the word explicitly and using a similar expression to one I frequently use!
