Pikmin 3 is pretty cool. You won't be disappointed.

Good for you. It's cheaper, it's got a cool design that'll make it a collectible, it comes with freaking WIND WAKER (though Nintendo Land had its own merits when the console first launched), and there's actually a LIBRARY now, with 5 or so interesting games and plenty more on the way this fall.

Get Pikmin 3, get Rayman Legends, get Wonderful 101 when it comes out this Sunday or whenever.

Nintendo Land is cool but don't spend $60 on it, Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate is cool but is just an HD upscaled version of the 3DS game, New Super Mario Bros U and New Super Luigi U have had lots of praise but I haven't played them myself, at least not enough to see what makes them "the best 2D Mario since World" as many claimed.

ZombiU is interesting, but I'm personally not into horror OR permadeath and thus it has sat on my shelf collecting dust and I don't know why I bought it besides launch desperation. Couldn't offer a "good/bad" judgement since I can't compare it to anything.

I have several 3rd party titles too but I doubt you'll need them, though they might hint for the future. Black Ops II could be best on Wii U but it didn't get ANY DLC support so the non-deathmatch servers dried up fast. Assassin's Creed is probably best on Wii U and actually DID get the DLC but it was significantly delayed and there's NOBODY on those online servers. WB goes back and forth on "supporting" Wii U; Arkham City is definitely best on it and Scribblenauts is cool, but Injustice got shortchanged and Arkham Origins isn't going to have multiplayer on it. And EA just hates the thing and either skips it or releases crap on it; don't trust them.

As for how that applies this fall:
- Assassin's Creed IV will probably be best on Wii U if you don't intend to get PS4 or XB1 at launch
- CoD Ghosts has potential but DON'T buy it if we don't get DLC when Sony does
- I'm on the fence on Watch_Dogs; I feel like it could be better on U than 360 or PS3, but for some reason I feel like it's gonna get ripped off in some way, like DLC or something, plus there's the issue of them ONLY showing PC/PS4/XB1 in their showcases, meaning we don't even know if the 360/PS3/WiiU version will be decent or not

New Super Mario Bros U isn't bad. From what I have played, the level design is some of the most unique in a Mario game since World. There are reasons for the comparisons, Neerb. Plus, HD Mario is pretty nifty.

I don't own it but I've played it frequently at Play N Trade and had a intercourse ing blast. It's just hard justifying buying it when I haven't even finished New Super Mario Bros Wii, so I'll probably pick it up when I do.

The first two games I'm getting are definitely Pikmin 3 and The Wonderful 101. I've been waiting sooo long for Pikmin 3. I will probably pick up New Super Mario Bros. U just because I need my Mario fix as well.

Can't wait for Smash Bros, DKC, Bayonetta 2.

I am hyped as heck for Tropical Freeze and I have no idea why.

I've never even finished a DKC game.

Never owned a SNES. I played the original at a friend's house, though. I also borrowed Returns and got most of the way through it, but had too much other stuff going on and decided to return it.
