Yellow was fun, my first Pokemon game and all, but my vote goes to Crystal. So much more to do, and so fun.

 Platinum. Yep the first one to say it.

I don't have the "This is the game" feeling for the Gb versions. R/b was 1996 and G/S was 1999(I think). And at that time I wasn't in to hand held gaming(2 and 5 years old).
