Snaking did a number to my DS.  I lost my R button, so I couldn't play MKDS anymore.  I got a new DS, but I decided not to go back to MKDS, because of what it did before.  I didn't have much to post on the MKDS board anymore, so I kind of just left.

yeah I see what you mean. Snaking has taken a toll on my ds as well. It wont read when I press left or right sometimes :/

I signed up on NSider2 before here, but it went offline only 2 minutes after I joined there.  Then I joined here, and these boards went offline for a few minutes too.   Does this kind of thing happen often, or am I just that unlucky?

Just a few minutes, I'd chalk it up to random chance. With that, welcome to the NSiderforums.net You'll find most of us are nice and hospitable, but we have our fair share of shenanigans.

With that said, I don't think we ever met on the old NSider.
