With the rising costs of developement and production costs, the games are increasing steadily in price. Do you think that it will cause a some sort of devastating event in the future-to crash per say?

"So sacrifice yourself, and let me have what's left.
I know that I can find the fire in your eyes.
I'm going all the way, get away, please.

You take the breath right out of me.
You left a hole where my heart should be.
You got to fight just to make it through,
'cause I will be the death of you."

The industry's much more stable now than it was in 1982.

Prices are increasing on games? I', pretty sure that's mostly ps3, with developers who thinks people like high prices.

The market it fine.

Friendly Hostile

Things can only head up for so long before crashing down.

But for 24 years?
The movie market never crashed and it's been around since like the 1920s.

Those that can't keep up with the high development costs stick with portables, mobile, and PC.

Movie market is too general. Parts of it are total crap, and parts are total awesomeness.

Subach

Friendly Hostile, I'm pretty sure what Tuppylover meant is that FINANCIALLY, the film industry is quite secure.

Anyhoo, I don't see any reason why there'd be a crash now, seeing that publishers and developers are making no small amount of money, especally Nintendo.

Commander Awesome

Prices have actually been somewhat steady.
Not so long ago we were paying $70 for a game.

I doubt a crash will happen.

True, but people in this industry have very little memory.
