Gamecrazy encounter...

When I went to pick up Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn over the weekend, I expected them to have multiple copies left. However, upon getting there I was told by the clerk I have come to know and respect , Andy, that they sold their one and only copy the day it came out. Dissapointed, and told that they weren't going to get another shipment in for a couple weeks, I went to go see if they had Battalion Wars 2.

A little later, a Freshman who goes to my high school walks in with his mom to trade in some games. From talking to him earlier last week, I knew he was there to buy Radiant Dawn as well. I told him they had none left, and stood in line behind them to ask if they had any more copies of BW2. So the kid asks "So you have no copies at all left?" Andy says "Well, lemme double-check. He rummaged around in the drawers, couldn't find anything, and then looked in the display case. Lo and behold, there was another copy! So he walks over and sells it to the Freshman kid!!!!! >:(

He apologizes to me while turning the game over to the kid and then informs me that they don't have anymore copies of BW2 either. So I go to Wal-Mart, and they don't ahve any Radiant Dawn copies either, so I ended up buying BW2 from them. Good game, but it isn't FE: Radiant Dawn. This is the first time I have felt let down by Gamecrazy...I hope it's the last.

Yeah, it was, esspecially cause I've known this guy for quite sometime, and I though he had my back...oh well.

I've had some let-downs from Game Crazy in the past. They didn't get MP:3 on time was probably the biggest disappointment for me, though today I found out that my friend went to GC yesterday and ended up picking up Super Mario Galaxy. What pisses me off is that they didn't even call me when I had had a pre-order for that game for awhile. Hopefully I will pick it up today though...

I have had some good experiences too though. When I was only 10 the manager gave me a free mvp card, and last August when I went to pick up some Wii S-video cables he gave them to me half off.
