Just randomly thought of this possibility, and having a new topic doesn't always hurt.  Are there any attacks from any one generation that never made it into a newer generation?  And also, are there any attacks that have changed in any way in terms of effect (and chance of), Base Attack, Accuracy, type of attack (fire, water, and so on..), etc.?

I'm aware of the Physical VS Special dealy with that being assigned to each individual attack and not covering an entire type like it used to.  Stuff like Thunderpunch being Physical instead of Special, but still Electric.  I'm aware of all that stuff, so that doesn't need mentioning.  I rarely play anymore so this isn't something I've really paid attention to, and I'm not all into EV/IV stuff and battling online or at tournies so memorizing attacks isn't my thing either.

Mmm... the only one I can remember is Bite going from Normal to Dark, but other than that, I can't think of any attacks being discontinued or changed...

A couple moves changed from HM's to TM's, and vice versa.

I think Dig is one of those. I believe it was an HM in G/S/C, but in every other game it's a TM.

Also, Secret Power. Wasn't that an HM in the R/S/E era?
