Title: The Expendables
Post by: Cornwad on August 14, 2010, 04:26:17 PM
Did anyone else see this movie? If you didn't, you definitely should. I went with a few friends and it was definitely the best movie I've seen all year.  I'm hoping for a sequel with Van Damme, The Rock, Chuck Norris, and Arnold as an actual character. It's not going to win any awards, but it was a helluva lot more fun than Inception, Toy Story 3, and even the A-Team.

Just like with most other movies this year, I'd like to see it, but I can't.

Why would I want to see a movie that glorifies bad action movie acting? Unless it's some sort of self-parody (a la Kill Bill), action movies bore me. Explosions stopped wowing me when I turned 13.

Yeah, it was kind of like Kill Bill but better because it had Terry Crews with an AA-12. I need to see it again. Hands down the funniest movie I've seen in a long time.
