Breeding issues

So for some reason I can't seem to breed anything with my Ditto in HG.
First I tried to breed a Chinchou, which is in the Water 2 egg group, and the daycare guy said they didn't get along, so I had to get both a male and female Chinchou to breed, which was kinda a pain in the ass. Now, I caught an Absol and tried to breed it, but Ditto and Absol apperently don't get along either.

So is anyone else having this problem? Or am I just retarded?

You won't have the same luck with certain Pokemon when you use Ditto.

Yeah, one Ditto isn't likely to breed with every other Pokemon, I think. It'll get along with some but not others.

No need for the super huge font. Chinchou and Absol are not any special anti-Ditto parents.

I have that sort of thing happen frequently. I just pull out the ditto and replace it with another one and it works. I think it's probably related to conflicting natures or something like that.

lol everytime I breed and the guy says they don't get along they produce an egg anyways
