meh, I guess that's nice but it's really not necessary unless ppl start abusing them, using them even if there is no need.

I usually do not use "curse" words because I do not see it necessary in normal speech.

Word filters are optional, but I would take caution while using them. People don't want even censored profanity. It's mean.  :(

Let's look at an example:

Right in the post RIGHT above this, you said the B word! How many people complained about THAT? None!

How many people complained about that "So called" joke, EVEN THOUGH it was cencored, to a fellow forum member? Most of everybody on here.

You see, you can swear, you can joke, but you can't insult!

Expically being an admin! You are a high power on these forums, and yet you act as most of the lowers! Act like a leader, not as a follower!
