Well, I think we need to get past this year before we truly decide how well the PlayStation 3 is doing or not. ::)
I feel that the United States and Canada will be the only places where the PlayStation 3 stays in last place for this year, in Europe's largest markets France, Spain, Germany, and Italy the PlayStation 3 has already overtaken the Xbox 360, even though the Xbox 360 enjoyed a fifteen month head start over the PlayStation 3 in Europe, and according to SCEE's David Reeves the PlayStation 3 will completely overtake the Xbox 360 in Europe, which isn't hard to believe as the Xbox 360 has sold about 5.42 million compared to the PlayStation 3's 4.01 million. And it's already common knowledge that the PlayStation 3 overtook the Xbox 360 in Japan in a heartbeat.
