Check out this awesome as heck 3rd party controller in Australia.

Also, Nintendo says that the Game Pad will last 5 hours on a battery charge, but the Pro Controller will last 80 hours.

Also also, Game Pad's screen runs at 60 FPS with a single frame of delay on response time, according to Ubisoft. Sounds a heck of a lot better than Wii Motion Plus' best days.

So, turns out that 3rd party controller up there is one of 5:

They'll go for $35 each, and, coolest of all, they work on Wii games, which Nintendo's 1st party Pro controllers cannot do. I may actually have to get a couple of these, assuming they are built well.

I thought those were already declared poor photoshopped pics and thus fake.

I played it today at Best Buy and was decently impressed. Rayman Origins looks and plays great, and the controller feels better in the hands than I thought it would.

The only thing I didn't like about it was the fact that it's a resistive, single touch screen that requires a stylus. In 2012, for something that has to last five or six years, I'd expect capacitive multi-touch. But it works well enough, I guess.

Tuppy frightens me with his knowledge of legacy technology.

Apparently there's some shenanigans with the processor, because it's not a Power-7, but a Power processor.
who cares

Played Rayman Legends at Gamestop today.

It was pretty fun. I can't remember the last time I had that much fun with a demo. The controller is surprisingly comfortable, and I was impressed with how natural it felt.

I had some serious doubts before now but I feel its pretty solid.

You should go back and check. I thought there weren't any demo games at the kiosk either until I scrolled through each game cover on the tablet and found that Rayman Legends had a demo.

I was really hoping for other demos too, to be honest

Neerb

Dang you guys, not one store in my town has a Wii U demo.

Nah, mine had none. Which is a bummer. :(
