We've had some complaints lately about some of the maps on the server, so we'll settle this the old-fashioned way. We vote on it. The list of maps above are the ones you can choose to remove. The ones I won't list are the Valve-created ones. If you don't know what a map looks like, look at FPSBanana, or create your own server, assuming you've got the map already downloaded. The ones with the highest votes will be removed, and then you can help me pick new ones.

i dont know what Box is either, but i voted for it

I know Box is DDantas' map, not sure if Labratory was Brett's or not.

I voted for all of them except ctf_mach4, cp_stag, and cp_warpath2. Almost all of the maps you have there are stupid gimmick maps. Toy Fort? wtf_v3? Is that a joke?

edit: btw, no need to remove them from the server. Just take them out of the rotation

warpath2 is broken.  it needs to be removed anyways.

I voted to get rid of maps that are never used. I also believe you should re-upload Warpath, as it's a great map when it works.

So far it seems clear which few you want taken out. I'll leave this until tomorrow, and get rid of the 5 highest-voted maps. Also, I reuploaded warpath2.

Main problems with WTF:
-to get on to the ladders, you need to jump
-easy to fall off of ladders and down to the ground once at the top
-no easy pathway at the top of the ladders
-easy to spawncamp
-back paths are pretty useless, only real danger to a duo (engie + another class not being medic or spy) is an uber, which is unlikely to happen with a sentry aimed down at the spawns.
-you can block the spawn doors (for the lulz)
-area above spawn and above the hallways are useless to all classes, have no reason for being there.
-cows should be solid
-it's spawn vs spawn fighting.  Not enough space between intel/spawns.  If you win a battle and there is any spawn time at all, the winner of the battle gets the intelligence.
-corners would be much nicer if rounded
-top area is too difficult and slow to get to for what you get out of it, halls are too long, lots of uneventful walking.

it is, if an engineer can ever get up there, not that they would, because it requires:

1. blocking their own spawn
2. building a disp
3. building an exit, then an entrance

and with all of the opposing team traffic in the map, I've never seen that happen, actually.

i played on it, it's a piece of crap. The two team's intelligences are literally like 10 yards apart and one scout can win it in like 2 minutes (which is what I did when I joined the serveR)

But really, the thing that makes wtf the map that a lot of people love is the fast paced action that occurs on it when not being spawn camped. D:

I would like wtf a bit better if it didn't look like such a 5 minute piece of work.

Just stick some lighting in there and I wouldn't hate it as much.
