Most people seem to recommend Dawn of Sorrow, but I don't think it really matters. Both are awesome and fun games.

As an owner of both games I whole heartedly reccomend DoS you can get it at Gamestop for $20, however the box art really got screwed up by Konami this time around. Your choice though.

Also, get Aria of Sorrow its one of the greatest GBA games of all time.

Dawn of Sorrow is the only one I've played so far.
