I don't know... if Square-Enix sticks with the PS3, it'll may win in the long run. I think the 360 just had time over the PS3.
Doesn't matter how long its been out. The Wii came out last and its in first. >_>
yeah, it does matter which one came out first.
And why is that? If it mattered the 360 would be first not Wii. =/ Look at the sales figures. Wii is leading when it was the last released system. What matters is uniqueness which Wii and 360 offers. PS3 is..enhanced. Which is nice but it doesn't really add anything new. Blu-Ray hardly counts as new. Wii has channels, VC, Mii, and so much more. 360 has XBox Live and a gamertag to go with it and other things I've yet to touch. Those are what determines how well a system does.
Exactly! The 360 came out first, and thus, with a year's head start, it has more sales. The PS3 is now gaining a lot more popularity because it's been out for some time, and they have dropped the price. Both the Wii and Xbox 360 lack some of what the ps3 has.
No it has less sales actually compared to Wii. But yes, this is between 360 and PS3. But the reason the 360 maintains this lead over PS3 is due to the features. Tell me, what new features does it have? And I don't mean enhanced. I know the saying "don't fix what isn't broken" but you good at least add to it to make it better rather than just updating stuff. If you look at the menus for 360 and how detailed they are you'd be impressed. So much to do that you could spend hours on it.
I find that the 360 is essentially nothing more than a PC, and the PS3 is nothing more than a media center. I can see the 360 becoming second, but only because the Wii exists. The PS3 is much preferred by the Japanese over the 360, and if it weren't for the Wii the PS3 would be crushing the 360 there. That would lead to Capcom, Squeenix, Namco, etc. developing almost exclusively for the PS3. Also, I have not heard of PS3s crashing as often as 360's so it is definitely not a better piece of hardware.
I blame the crashings on the owners. If you handle it right, it'll be fine. If you mistreat it..yeah, it can break. =/ Its common sense. The 360 offers more than the PS3 does and that's the sole reason it still leads the PS3. If it didn't have those features, it'd matter not which was out first, the PS3 would bypass the 360 but it hasn't. over a year is long enough to catch up.
Both systems thrive upon third party support, the 360 American, and the PS3 Japanese. The Japanese developers are focusing on the Wii though, and the PS3 hasn't recieved any groundbreaking games. If next year's batch of games does not save the PS3, then nothing can, but the games are huge titles that will compel the "hardcore" players.

Xbox 360 will come out in second.

PS3 last. It has no place. Wii has 3rd party support and innovation. 360 has the best online, and power to compliment it. PS3 has...3rd party, which is dying. Any real good games on PS3 are on 360 and/or Wii. Why buy it for Blu-ray, when for maybe a couple hundred more I can get a HD-DVD/Blu ray combo player?
because that would be a waste of money, on two things that play dvds in high definition.
THAT'S Dumb.
What the f*** are you talking about? I never even mentioned DVDs. And spending 80 on a HD-DVD/Bluray combo player is dumber than spending 1200 on two separate players? Can you ever think with your head?
Why would you buy a Blu Ray AND Hddvd. That's retarded, think with your head. ONly one will be the player of the future.
And where did you get 1200? It's $400 for a ps3. Learn to count, add, multiply, whatever the f*** you did.

Well, lets see it be smart to buy the hybrid because we dont know for sure which format will win over the other
one, so its kinda smart to buy the hybrid, because if you buy Hd-DVD and blu ray wins, then youd have to
buy the blu ray, so either ways youd still be spending the extra cash you would if you buy the players separately.

You are a intercourse ing dumbass. Not every movie is gonna come out on one format, even when one becomes standard. Why the hell should I wait, when now I can get BOTH for cheap.

And I wasn't talking about buying the PS3 for blu ray. I was talking in general. Please do us a favor and shut up.

Almost now rivaling that of the Wii. PS3 is getting to be good, I just think it needs to up its online status as these days online play is a huge factor on how well it sells.

What don't you understand? A blu-ray player is anywhere from 800-1000. HD-DVD is about the same range. A combo player would probably be about, eh...1000-1200.

So combo player = 1000
Separate blu ray = 800
Separate HDDVD = 800
Last I checked, 1000 > 800 + 800

Yeah, that's important as well. I think Sony will be smart enough to appease the problem and third parties will become more keen to the idea. I guess 2008 will be the deciding year for Playstation's fate.

I see the Wii being in first.

You are a f***ing dumbass. Not every movie is gonna come out on one format, even when one becomes standard. Why the hell should I wait, when now I can get BOTH for cheap.

And I wasn't talking about buying the PS3 for blu ray. I was talking in general. Please do us a favor and shut up.
CHEAP?!!!!
:D ..................................  :| .................................  :D
you're so stupid. And keep on swearing.

Plus, your logic escapes me. But go ahead, get both for "cheap"?

What don't you understand? A blu-ray player is anywhere from 800-1000. HD-DVD is about the same range. A combo player would probably be about, eh...1000-1200.

So combo player = 1000
Separate blu ray = 800
Separate HDDVD = 800
Last I checked, 1000 > 800 + 800
a blu-ray player is now 400. hd-dvd - 300
combo, according to you 1000-1200 although I don't think that's right. Either way, you're spending more for both (a hybrid), when you could just get one, and watch movies on Blu-Ray OR Hd-dvd.
But the smartest thing would be to wait a while.

And by the way 1000 < (LESS THAN)  800 + 800
gee, that's embarassing isn't it. And you seem to "check" up on stuff really late, as seen with your prices.

Don't get me wrong. I used to prefer Sony but the disappoint I felt with PSP and now PS3 just killed it for me. The PS3 used to be so dang expensive which I'm glad they fixed. And I remember how it used to be called a "grill" but 360 had a lot of problems as well. I just think it comes down to quality, which many people are agreeing the quality of 360 is better. Almost now rivaling that of the Wii. PS3 is getting to be good, I just think it needs to up its online status as these days online play is a huge factor on how well it sells.
Yeah, that's important as well. I think Sony will be smart enough to appease the problem and third parties will become more keen to the idea. I guess 2008 will be the deciding year for Playstation's fate.
Yeah. Only reason I don't care about online play is my wifi isn't working. Something happened and I can't connect to the internet on anything. But if the PS3 does improve online play then I could see it giving the 360 a run for its money. Just atm the 360 has better features. Though if when KH3 comes out they bundle that with the PS3 that'd sell many systems. This gen has undoubtfully been the most fierce competition ever between gaming companies. I may wind up with a PS3 in my possession sometime down the line if I see more games on it that interest me. I don't want to waste money on a system and only like 1 game on it.

Feel free to add me on MSN!
