I'm not sure if there's any good job that uses both science and mathematics though.

I lol'd. Literally. What kind of sorry excuse for a science class are you in? Junior high? Remedial high school?

You'll be working math in every science class in college.

Teaching. My love of history and writing seemed to mesh. With that, I will be getting a minor in law, and taking any political courses I can. With that, I have three career options.

I plan to make my hobby of writing poetry and fiction into a career, if possible. However, because of the fact that it is extremely unlikely I'll be able to live on my writing, I'll probably get another job on the side that is related to my BFA in English. Maybe editing or proofreading for a publisher or magazine.

my friend writes down stories that she thinks up on the fly... she wrote really in-depth fantasy stuff, but people didn't like it.  then she made up this story at like, 2 in the morning when she was running on coca-cola about a really girlish boy, and people loved it. o_O

Well, it's good to hear that people not liking her work doesn't stop her. The way I see it is that if someone doesn't like your work, you should keep doing it anyway, because there's bound to be at  least someone out there who will love it.

I write things as I think of them as well. I started a story while waiting outside my Myth classroom earlier today.

You just kinda...have to write when you think of it, you know? If you're a writer, I mean. Writing is more of an obligation than a hobby sometimes.
