Seriously though, does anyone here have videos to prove they are good? I'm pretty worried about us simply because no one has really established their playing level here, and we can already see some good players on Nsider2.

Seriously though, does anyone here have videos to prove they are good? I'm pretty worried about us simply because no one has really established their playing level here, and we can already see some good players on Nsider2.

I don't believe that's been established, but rest assured, as soon as SSBB comes out,

We'll of course practice getting better ourselves,
THEN we'll fight eachother so we can get better that way,

AND THEN we will face off against them.

I don't truly see either 1 of us willing to fight the other forum on the 1st day SSBB comes out.

I don't go to tourneys, so i can't really send you a video of me beating someone actually good... But every once in a while I'll play 99 lives for the practice of combos and such, and i beat the computers with over 50 lives left, IDK if that means anything or not...

I can't provide it, I don't expect anybody else too. :P

SSBB will be the same as SSBM I'm sure, BUT it'll be different....

Different items, stages, AND Controls can make a person who was
bad at SSBM WAYYY BETTER in SSBB, of course it can work the other way,
we'll find out soon enough.

Of course we won't start the day the game comes out. With the change in physics engine alone people won't be at their top potential (compared to how they played in Melee). But skills from older games can carry over to the next game (People who were very good at 64 are known to have good tech skill in Melee), and if we are really bad at Melee, I don't think that will help are chances in winning the tournaments, no matter the changes.

Depster, sorry to say, but that isn't that great. Level 9's are horrible practice simply because what you could pull off on them doesn't always work on humans. You can practice basic things like edgehopping and L-canceling, but their DI is horrible, and while Dashdancing can work on humans, the computer will be un-fazed. Once you master all things simple though, You'll never get better without playing against humans (and not your same group of friends. Playing anybody who you don't usually play with but is still reasonably good will help.) But if you don't have people like that to play with, try doing All-star on very hard. That can help.

As for your "idea" Ridley, I really hope it involves showing off what you can do.
