There never was a Nintendo version of GH or GHII, but now that GH has been sold, there is a Wii version of GHIII.  Yet,Harmonix, even though they are perfectly capable of making one, don't won't to make a Rock Band for the Wii.

Okay. You're obviously confusing Harmonix with RedOctane. RedOctane and Harmonix have been working together on GH until GHIII when Activision took over. SO...

Harmonix leaves and goes to work on Rock Band while RedOctane stays with GH. To say RedOctane is working on Rock Band is like saying the Earth is located inside of the sun. They're pretty much massive rivals now, at least the games.
