Worst Sonic game?

For the Wii: SONIC RIDERS: total ripoff.

I never played the very old ones.
But the worst I've played is Sonic and the Secret Rings. If all you do is steer and crap, just make a dang racing game.

A $30 Genesis isn't worth buying just for three good Sonic games, one mediocre one, one poopty one, and one that's such an abomination I refuse to ever touch it again.

In case you were wondering, Sonic 2, Sonic 3, and Sonic and Knuckles are the good ones, Sonic 1 is mediocre, 3D Blast is poopty, and Spinball is an abomination.

In case you were wondering, Sonic 2, Sonic 3, and Sonic and Knuckles are the good ones, Sonic 1 is mediocre, 3D Blast is s***ty, and Spinball is an abomination.

I loved all of them but spinball. You also forgot Mean Bean Machine. :-\

However, there was WAY more to the Genesis than just the Sonic games! ^_^

Also, I thought it was pretty good. The perspective WAS a bit confusing at first, but then I got used to it. However, I never got really far in it. :D Maybe that's why?

Also, I thought it was pretty good. The perspective WAS a bit confusing at first, but then I got used to it. However, I never got really far in it. :D Maybe that's why?

The Flickies will annoy you to no end.

That's true, my friend. ;) Shining Force, Toejam & Earl, Gunstar Heroes, Rocket Knight Adventures, Bonanza Brothers, Altered Beast, Golden Axe (not one of the greatest Genesis games though), Alex Kidd, and so much more.

Kirby's Avalanche has cooler characters and music. Plus the silly human voices. "AVALANCHE!" Other than that yes they're the same.

I'll say without hesitation that it's Sonic and the Secret Rings, mostly because of the predetermined path and controls.

The Secret Rings was a decent game. It was getting back to the Sonic roots, but it still missed the main point.

I liked Secret Rings too (I have no idea why everyone hated it :-\), but I don't see why it was like the old Sonic games.

Sonic '06 I don't feel like playing anymore because I got to Crisis City (with Sonic) and toward the end of the level (the part where Sonic runs forward on his own and you have to make him move left and right and jump), I kept running into poop and falling off for no reason, then I thought "I'm done with this game".

There's a lot of bad ones, but here are the ones that stick out in my mind.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2006: Terrible controls, game-killing glitches, awful voice acting, huge load times, and a confusing story makes this one of the worst games in recent memory.

Dude, this game wasnt bad, it just wasnt good either. It was ok. The people who say it sucks have never played it all the way through.

Sonic Labyrinth: Sonic can't run fast because he doesn't have speed shoes. Enough said.  :|

Tjis one takes the cake, it was terrible

Sonic 3D Blast: A bad rip-off of Flicky with a confusing perspective.

Sonic Shuffle: They didn't even TRY to not make this a Mario Party rip-off.  :D

Shadow the Hedgehog: Sure, it's not a Sonic game, but it still sucks. What's the point of playing a Sonic game if you drive and shoot gun?

I loved this game! It had so many levels, and most of them were great!

Why does everybody hate this game? THE CONTROLS WERE FINE! And its the fastest game of them all!
