I went to a spanish school for 6 years, I also took spanish in High School every year except this one, it has always been "Poo-Seh"
Though now that I think of it, I do remember "Poo-sEE," the accented sound sounded too odd to me to recognize the relation until pointed out by you, though that may be because I'm mature. (And I know someone will respond to that last part)

I speak Spanish. It's poo-seh and I've never heard it pronounced poo-say, that sounds more gringo to me.
Now because (s)he's from Argentina, it may just be the Argentinian accent. They have a very distinct way of speaking Spanish. For example, Argentinians pronounce "ll" as "sh". No other country pronounces the "ll" like that.

Anyway, there is no GOOD Spanish accent because all or most of the Hispanic countries have their own accents. Argentians, Spaniards, Mexicans, and Cubans sound completely different when they talk Spanish.
