Do Your Second Generation Games Still Work?

Do your Pokemon Gold, Silver, or Crystal games still work? Can they save?
I have Silver and Crystal.
Silver can't save anymore. :(
But my Crystal surprisingly still works. I was playing it today.

Crystal is alive and Yellow is also, but cannot save.

Last I checked (probably like last month or something), my Silver wasn't saving anymore and my Gold still was, but they were both still functioning.

Last I knew, my Red, Blue, Yellow and Crystal still work and can save.  Gold and Silver still play but can't save due to the dead internal battery.

All my first and second gen games still work completely (Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Crystal) with even the clock still working in Gold and Crystal. For that matter, my third gen games' clocks still work too (I've seen some third gen games have their clock batteries die)

My Crystal still works, though it freezes a lot at Violet City whenever I start a new file.

all of mine work except silver...its so weird. Im counting first gen too, so red, blue, yellow, gold, silver, and crystal.

Gold is dead, but Crystal is still alive.
If you count First Gen, Red and Blue still work too.

All of them work including my first gen games. My legit shiny Noctowl is still on my Crystal. It will be a sad day when it dies...
