I was trying that glitch to get Darkrai by using your bike near the Poketch building. I managed to find myself on New Moon Island or whatever, but uh, as soon as I restarted the game, it would no longer load. :(

It's been a year since then and I'm restarting just now. I have 4 badges. :)

Congrats! In Platinum the shinys I caught were geodude and snover. I also tried out the RNG and hatched a shiny swablu.

So, I just caught another in Emerald. Shiny Lotad.

I guess the odds of catching TWO shinies is greater than catching a Timid female Ralts with Trace.

First Shiny I ever got was a shiny... Tangela. :| :| :| :|
Seriously, a intercourse in' Tangela. I was busy grinding on Mount Silver on my Crystal version and one just popped up. I was excited to finally see a Shiny and then I caught it. Then I realized Tangela suck and they're not worth it.

The only other shiny I've gotten legitely on my own is a Shiny... Weepinbell :| :| :| :|
I have the worst luck when it comes to Shinies.
