...with Pokemon games; Catch a pokemon early on at a respectable level, and use that for the remainder of the same in place of your starter.  My question is this: Which out of the following Pokemon that I've caught (With the Pokewalker, all ranging from levels 7-10) should I use?

Psyduck, Ponyta, Onix, Rattata, or Nidowhateverthefirstfemaleoneis?
I'm leaning towards using Ponyta just 'cuz it's that badass, but I'm bored so I figured might as well ask you guys.  =3
