..Have you ever been or seen a friend be really out of character?
..I just did..Bryan just broke down and cried because we can't find one of his dogs..
..It was very surprising to me..
..So what about you guys..?

Oh..
Good to know she came back. Knowing your pet is missing isn't an easy experience.
As for the question, I've snapped out of character a few times, but only when I was emotionally stressed out.
It sort of gets to me when one of my best friends acts like a total badass around me and the rest of our friends, but when his girlfriend comes along his voice gets all high and he turns into this clingy pansy. Especially when they're going to colleges separately and have acknowledged they'll break up soon anyway. >__>
I try not to break character too often. I figure my true friends are those that accept me for how I always am, and this has so far been true.
I'd feel uncomfortable going into detail (as a few IRL friends post here), but the short answer is--technically (and in my case ironically)--yes--and lots of times. It's awful. :(
