I was bored and wanted to play one of my old ps2 games (Jak 2) when i remembered it didn't work. I happen to find an eraser and decided to try rubbing the scratch out with it.
Oddly enough, that actually works, but only after i put some weird disc skip fixer I bought two year ago from gamestop on the entire disc, to get the eraser marks off of the disc.
Yeah, I'm bored.
/me claps
Or buy one of the things that's made to do that. Some of them actually work.

Indeed.
Must've been a stroke of luck. But then again, I managed to erase text inside a strategy guide...nah, just luck.

Knowing you, it won't work.
I should try this for my Starsiege disc. Doubt it would work for such an extreme case, but...it's worth a shot.
Yeah I got bored enough to play Ratchet and Clank on the Ps2... but it got scratchs from kids abusing it (lets see... laying it on the floor alot.... throwing it and maybe put it in case not right) but my Jak2 works fine :P but am bored... all the time.
