tl;dr

Touhou is a particular brand of shooters and fighting games.
Except no one plays fighting games on PC, and the shooters are of the bullet hell variety. So they are poop.

I don't see any of them being memorable in the future, so meh.

I just download, as does a lot of other people.  If you really like a game or just want a guaranteed clean (meaning no saves from other players), I'd shell out the $30.  I might just do that for the next Touhou fighting game.
