The Death Note anime is one of those rare ones, that doesn't suck in english. Incredible! And the themes weren't replaced by some kind of rap music that sucks either.

xD I didn't really think it sucked either. i only ssaw the first episode, though. So I haven't seen L yet... *mope* I could be nitpicky and complain on a bunch of minor details, but I still thought it was pretty good on a whole.

I've already seen it all in Jpaanese, but I still watch new episodes in English just becuase. It's not bad, I'll buy the box set when it comes out.

I agree that Yotsuba wasn't so great... and the rest afterwards was okay... but I still think the beginning was the best.
