Hardest RPG you've beaten.

We were playing D&D,  the DM: Mike Bachen. He has this thing where he makes EVERYTHING a pain. ANYWAY, we had just started an adventure, we are all level 2 or something, and he sends a Monitaur with something like 10 HD, and by the time we killed it, more than half of our people were dead with no way of rejuvenation. And then some of us walked into a bunch of traps and the REST of us died. The adventure only lasted an hour. :-\
