Never done it before. All I know is that you need a DVD Drive and a mpeg-2 decoder, which I don't apparently have, and none are free, lol.
Put DVD in drive -> Close drive -> Open WMP -> Done.

Mine has a software has DVDPlay installed. I have it automatically play any DVD.

Have you tried a different player, like say, iTunes?
